Lunesdale Bakery - Kirkby Lonsdale

Now this one is a long way out of our usual cycling area, but by golly it's worth it!  It really is an effort to finish, and very reasonable in price too.  Best quality bacon and sausage and of course being a bakery, the bread is wonderful too.  The scrambled eggs option is made with cream and 5 eggs - be warned!

Penny Garth Cafe - Hawes

More of a bikers cafe - at least it was full of leather clad types when we ventured over Fleet Moss in search of the perfect breakfast.  Chips, eggs and beans.  Ideal for fuelling up prior to the return trip.

2 Sisters - Plumgarth, Kendal

Just off the roundabout on the Kendal bypass, Plumgarth 2 Sisters cafe is a real treat.
